The first thing I noticed were the cloth tags sewed into the neck of the sweat shirt. Since when did Hanes go back to those annoying neck tags? I slipped it on to check the fit (OK) then went about the tag removal process. Then I put it on and tried to zip it up. Lots of trouble but finally got it working. Then I noticed that with it zipped up, the zipper line protruded. No fix for this. If I hadn't removed the tags it would have been returned. I suspect that this shirt is a "knock off."

So cheap material :( especially after you wash it

Supposed to be 90% cotton. Was 65% cotton. Plus it cost $9.85 in postage to return item.

The quality of these hoodies has really gone down. After just one wash, the drawstrings were completely shredded. It's too bad because they used to be pretty good sweatshirts but they aren't anymore. Time for a Weights and Measures Dept. that makes sure products being sold actually hold up.

Comfortable, but major shrinkage. I bought an XL but a month later the length is now that of a MEDIUM. Figured I’d post a review before I toss this in the trash. Very disappointed.

Apparently Hanes has no idea what a heavyweight hoodie is. This is more like a medium-to-light weight. The quality isn't that great, either. The fabric around the zipper twists and pulls around, so when it's zipped closed, the zipper is visible in some parts of the shirt and covered in other parts. A good hoodie looks nicer than that.

Ordered a ultimate heavyweight hoodie and it’s as thick as my long sleeve shirt. Not happy cause could of got different one or 2 for the price

Both my mother and I had allergic reactions to this sweatshirt (when I was wearing it). I don't know why. I started to get a runny nose and felt that I was having trouble breathing due to constriction in my chest. I don't usually get this in response to anything. My mother does have some form of asthma or environmental illness, and I might have some chemical sensitivities or inherited tendencies myself, but I never expected anything like that to be triggered by a sweatshirt. If you have any form of breathing problems or chemical sensitivities, it would be best to buy a different garment. My disclaimer is, I didn't wash it to find out if washing it made a difference. I just freaked out about what had happened and threw out my new purchase.

This is badly made. When you wash zipper crinkles and shortens makes it look weid. I am definitely not happy with this purchase.

I read all the reviews before ordering this. I really wanted the Heavy 90/10 cotton/poly blend. That is not what arrived today. If you read the description, it tells which colors come in what blends. I carefully selected a color to get the 90/10 blend. Instead, I received a light weight 65/35 blend. I don't know how I could have been more careful. I followed their specifications. I could have bought this level of quality at Walmart but I wanted a better, heavier fabric with more cotton. Read the positive reviews. Read the negative reviews. Also, read the questions and all answers about the blend. I think you will find this is a matter of what someone feels like sending you.
