Mission: Happy Cat is a 501(c)3 non-profit in Long Island, New York. Our mission is to save the lives of cats and ensure they are provided with the quality of life every creature deserves, including access to medical care, proper nutrition, adequate shelter, and the freedom and safety to live without fear of sickness, neglect, or abuse.

Results: 300 cats currently reside in sanctuary and are being rehabilitated. Most come from serious 'code red' situations including cases of hoarding, shootings, threat of poisoning, and targeting by gangs to use as bait in pit bull dog fighting rings. Since 2007, approximately 150 cats/kittens have been adopted out to loving homes. Since 2007, approximately 250 cats have been TNRed ( Trap, Neutered, and Returned ) to reduce the feral population in Long Island / Suffolk County, New York.
