The story is deeply touching, and Tom writes so vividly about the experiences. I've now become one of his many fans as a result of reading this book and Will's Red Coat.

It is such a heartwarming story. I love the state of NH and especially the White Mountains. Have gone there since I was a little girl. Enjoyed reading about the mountain ranges. Also I am a dog lover so enjoyed reading about the stamina of this little dog and his owner working hard to raise money for such a worthy cause-to beat cancer.

Read this book on my tablet several years ago after seeing a review when I was on vacation. Tom has a unique and special view of life and animals. His words make you feel your right there sharing his experiences. After meeting him at a book signing and reading Will's Red Coat decided I needed a hard copy too.

A very fun read! It was hilarious and entertaining to read about Tom becoming such a dog person. Plus his descriptions of the hikes were great and made me want to plan a trip to the White Mountains.
