How can you not love this book. One of my favorites from when my kids were little and I am happy to pass it on to a great grandnephew. The rhythm of the words, the quiet darkening of the book and finding the mouse all were great ways to get the little tykes prepared for bedtime and cultivating a love of books and poems.

This book is missing a page. It hoes from the firat page which is 34;In the great green room there was a telephone and a red baloon and a picture of... Next it should say 34; a cow jumoing over the moon34; but instead it goes straight to 34;and two little kittens and a pair of kittens34; totally missing thw page about the cow jumping over the moon.

My grandson loves the book. He can turn the pages easily and I don’t have to worry about pages getting torn. We read it several times a day.

This is an absolute MUST have for bed time. It's a relatively short book with beautiful illustrations that baby loves. It is our absolute favorite book.

Love everything about this book. My grandbabies had me read it to them every time I saw them - sometimes 2 or 3 times. Now I gift it to every new mom or grandma I know so that they can share the experience.

I thought it was a bit slow but my 5 year old autistic child LOVES it. More important I found the version on HBO to Go narrated by Susan Sarandon and he reads along. PERFECT
