I love the product and so does my birds it is healthy for them better then seeds which can cause health problems for your bird

My vet suggested eight years ago when we got my blue and gold macaw to use Harrison's because it is not cooked at a really high temperature so the vitamins are not cooked out. He is absolutely healthy, perfect weight, happy bird he loves the stuff.

25 yr parrot and smaller bird owner. I use Harrisons high potency pellets (course) for parrots and crumble for my smaller birds. A good mix with your bird seed (Seed by Companion is best to date) in addition to fruits and vegies.

Much better than buying from the avian

My male eckie has been on Harrison’s all his life and has never been sick. He loves it. Sometimes I mix other goodies with it.

My parrot loves it. And Harrisons makes different formulas for each type of parrot so the right nutrition is available. I supplement with fresh organic vegetables fruits, but the pellets are very complete nutritionally.

However, I have to only give her a few a day as the protein content is so high it raises her hormones and she gets aggressive, where otherwise she is the absolute sweetest pet bird on the planet! It took me many years to realize it was the protein content of the Harrision's. She would put her head down to have me pet her, and purposely, meanly bite and latch on to my hand and absolutely not let go. Thank goodness I figured it out! .. Unfortunately now, directly as I bought this huge bag, she is refusing to eat, as she has had to have a major surgery because of a spider bite, and she's incredibly stressed and the collars she has to wear (after ripping out her sutures 4 times), are obstructing her ability to eat and her appetite... so this huge expensive bag will go to waste unless she gets back to normal! She's having to be hand fed 3 times a day right now! When she gets back to normal food though, she will need the high protein content of the Harrison's so hopefully and soon!!!

Since day 1, I have kept their bowls full of Harrisons bird food, of course, they always have a daily meal of fresh fruits and veggies too. They snack on the Harrisons throughout the day and enjoy turning their water dish into their own creation of Harrisons soup.

I trust Dr. Harrison's food products for my parrots. I know that his pellets are safe, nutritious, and good for the birds and the environment. Plus the birds like Harrison's.

Expensive but my Macaw love this food

My picky bird actually really likes these, which is good, because it was the food recommended by our vet. We had been trying for years to get our bird to go on an all kibble diet, but the food waste was insane, he'd go through the kibble to find the other stuff, or throw most of it out of the cage. He actually EATS this!Yeah, it's super expensive, but it's what our birds eat!

I have lucky spoiled birds. A CAG and a gallah. They've been in protest over the introduction of these pellets. I'm hoping I can wait the little buggers out and that they will come around. These pellets have good reviews and seem high quality. I hope my birds change their minds.

I like being able to get this in a 5 lb. bag. It is always the same fresh product. I store in refrigerator. Always clean and quality can't be better. My Grey's do well on it and they love it. So does my avian vet!

Supplements all the peanuts he gets for treats.
