My veterinarian suggested this bird food to me and unfortunately my birds do not like it at all. It's not like the seeds they are used to eating, so that is probably the reason why.

My cockatiel has been eating these pellets (as well as dark leafy greens and Romaine lettuce) for over 30 years so they have to be nutritious! He still looks young!

No preservatives or additives or colorants. And my birds love it.

So I have really been fighting to leave this review I did a lot if research on this brand and like 3 others for my budgie and Harrison's had the best review with the most ppl useing it I I received these pellets on a Friday Tuesday I woke up and my 8 month old bird was dead There was absolutely no other changes in her life other than Switch and her from seed diet to pellet diet I guess I am writing to see if there was a bad batch or if this happen to anyone else

The Harrison's food is nutritious for my cockatiel as evidence by the improvement of her health. My parrots Avian Veterinarian is an outstanding Avian Veterinarian Harrison's is the food I was told to FEED her. Of course, I had to slowly wean her off the bad seeds AKA filler seeds ( sunflower, millet ect. ); once she got use to the size and the uniform shapes, she enjoys the Harrison's. She did try it the first time I gave it to her - like some people - she just needed a little bit of encouragement to eat healthy.I believe that if her veterinarian hadn't been invested in her - she wouldn't still be with me today. My gcc absolutely loves these pellets! Since they look like little seeds I have got him totally fooled! For a parrots who is having trouble eating pellets I reccomend.
