I have a parrot who was brought up on Harrison's food. But I now mix in other pelleted food, along with nuts and people food. That's because she puts much of the Harrison's into her water, rather than eating it. And over the years, the cost of Harrison's has gone up. It's now $10 a pound. And a good portion of it goes into her water. I'm on a fixed income and have four birds, and $5 per pound is just too much.

If you want your feathered friend to live a long, healthy life, you must feed them Harrison's bird food. It is good for them in every way. My bird loves it.

Budgies and Cockatiels will definitely dine on this. I think the High Potency seems a bit harder than the normal one (green label) but they still eat away. I use this with a mix of foods aside, like spinach and such for variety.

Have a leg paralyzed bird who isn't self feeding. His poop is very stinky and 2 fecal checks show no issues. I switched him to this from another well known formula because he got sour crop twice. Also was experiencing slow crop with other birds. I didn't realize it is pellets so I grind it up in the nutribullet and mix with water like regular formula. The poop is not smelly anymore and the bird seems to like it. No problems with sour crop and I'm on my 2nd 5lb bag.

This is a great product and the fine pellets are the only pellets my budgies will eat, as any other pellets are too large for their tiny beaks. However, these price is ridiculously expensive...way overpriced. Hence, I knocked off a star due to the price! More manufacturers need to start making the fine pellets for the smaller birds which would get the price down somewhat.

The pellets seemed expense but what can you do! The packaging kept the pellets fresh, instructions said keep in original package and store in refrigerator.I have a rescued African Grey who is a picky eater. His vet recommend this brand over Roudy Bush. Because he is a picky eater I cook omelettes for him sprinkling the pellets over the eggs and carefully flipping to cook the other side. I also finely chop up broccoli crowns and sprinkleOver the omelette.
