We buy this for our parakeets. After one died from obesity due to eating seeds. Vet recommended to switch to these and ever since then we only use this as the main food for parakeets.

This product only last 6 weeks after opening and my conure only eats little more than half by that time. This company is high for charging $50 for bird feed that doesn't even last as long as you need it, they should offer a smaller size. Horrible value for your money. Their are cheaper healthy options for feed than this product and I would recommend them.

Product introduction by Vet. One bird was quite ill and is doing much better with this food. Birds like the pellets above other foods on a daily basis.

If you care about your birds health and longevity, this is the food your bird needs. I have an African Gray Parrot and this is the food she's been on since she was about 6 mo old. She is now 16 and in perfect health with gorgeous feathers. I care greatly what I eat and want the best for my bird. I found it with Harrison... THANK YOU!!!

My 7 month old cockatiel transitioned over to Harrisons, and I couldn't be happier. Pet owner gave him the seed only diet when we first got him, but my 'tiel now eats Harrisons as his primary diet.

The BEST....had to teach my cockatiel how to eat pellets. But he lives on these and is 15 yrs old and very fit....I give treat sticks as well but his main food is Harrisons..cheaper here than at vet...

I have been buying this product for my parrot for years, because her vet said it was good for her, and in all these years that I changed over to the Harrison's, she hasn't gotten sick (knock on wood). A few of the local vets carry this but the orders are sporadic and when you open the bags the pellets are dust. When I opened this bag, I was amazed, I never realized the little pellets were that size, my poor little parrot has been getting bags that I swear someone did a hat dance on. I will order another bag when it is time, and hopefully it will be as good as the first. But these pellets are really good. My little ones life span was supposed to be 20 years, she is now 23 and no sign of slowing down.
