Do you know how hard it is to find high-vis sweaters that are full zip and don't have hoods? Near impossible. I was so, SO excited when I finally found this last year!I work in a warehouse that requires high-vis shirts, but also no hoods (we have a production department as well where they're concerned about clothing getting caught in machinery, understandable, but the dress code is site-wide regardless of department). The company has branded pullover sweatshirts available for purchase, but I wanted something easy to put on and take off, I move around a lot and don't always need the extra layer. This jacket is thinner, but warm. It shows dirt easily like any yellow high-vis, but washes well. The fabric has pilled up a little over the last year with the frequent washing, but it still looks nice and is as bright as the day I bought it. Zippers are plastic with metal pulls, they go up and down easily without fuss. Elastic drawstring cord at the bottom hem, though I've never used it. Two zip pockets at the sides, no inside pockets. The lining of the pockets is black, so if you have the front unzipped you can see the black square shape of the pockets on the inside, but I'm not wearing this to look pretty haha. Seams are well made, no stitching coming undone after a year of use.I'm a woman, 5'2 and about 140lbs, on the curvy side. I usually wear a women's medium to large in shirts or a unisex/men's small, maaaybe a medium if it's not stretchy or I want a looser fit. I ordered this in small and it's definitely a loose fit, but not overly baggy, works well for layering over clothes. The bottom hem hits at the very top of my upper thigh, not quite short enough for hip length. The elastic on the wrists is small enough they don't slide over my hands (and I have tiny wrists), but still a little loose and stretchy enough I don't think someone with bigger wrists would have a problem. Sleeves aren't overly long but again still have some room for someone with longer/bigger around arms.Overall I love it, our dress code recently opened up to allow high vis colors other than yellow, so I came back to buy the orange and I'm debating about buying an extra in case these have disappeared by the time mine wear out, which I expect will be a long while still.
