Really fun game - great gift for any hardcore Harry Potter fan. A little pricey, but worth it. Lots of small pieces, so I think it’s best to always play it on an elevated surface. Played it for the first time sitting on the floor and my puppy wanted in on the game (i.e. eat things)!

I’ve never played a deck building game before, so I was hesitant about the game at first. My girlfriend and I had a BLAST playing this game! We both love Harry Potter and were so engrossed in the game! The game was hard enough to keep it entertaining, but not so hard that it was impossible to beat. We had to come up with different strategies as the games got harder. I highly recommend this game!

Extremely fun game. My niece, my brother and I are all huge Harry potter fans and we love this game. The best part is you don't have to know a whole lot about the books or movies to play. My nephew doesnt know much at all about them and he loves playing it with us. Was worried about the price for a board game but in my opinion its well worth the money. Even bought the expansion pack which we are excited to break open and try out.

My daughters and I have enjoyed playing this! They are 13 and 16. Two of us are big fans but even the non-fan is enjoying it. I like the cooperative aspect. We have lost a few times and now in the midst of book 6. It gets longer to play so we needed to stop for the night! My husband is not a fan and doesn’t play with us - but enjoys watching us play.

This game is extremely fun if you like Harry Potter and deck-building, strategy games. It comes with 7 different years, so like in the films or books, new locations are added, new villains, new abilities, new spells, and more as the game progresses. We had some friends over and progressed up to the 5th game. It increases in difficulty as it progresses, but it is random depending on the cards dealt as to how difficult. All of the game pieces are fantastic. The artwork on the game box and board is spectacular and perfect for any Harry Potter fan. There are slots in the rule book for each new game's rules to fit into, so it is easy to organize the box as things are added...it even comes with labeled dividers for all of the cards! This is currently my favorite board game we own.
