Mission: Hawks aloft works to conserve indigenous wild birds through avian research, conservation education, raptor rescue, and collaboration with others.
Programs: Conduct avian monitoring and provide data to government agencies and private corporations to enable managers to make sound land management decisions that protect wildlife. Conduct conservation education programs featuring non-releasable birds of prey to public and private schools in new mexico and the surrounding areas. Also conduct outreach to adult audiences and specialized training for government agencies and private corporations. Conduct rescues and rehabilitation of raptors, corvids and roadrunners in the state of new mexico.
