The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product. This gear helps transfer the rotating power that comes from the medium turbine and medium turbine drive gear and sends it up through this spindle gear to the intermediate gear. It then transfers it to the cone gear which is the unit that changes the direction of the cleaner (left to right) and also connects to the hose assembly so that way the dirt and debris that\'s sucked up can travel through into the filtration system and out of the pool. The part is black and is considerably smaller than the rest of the gears used to operate the cleaner. It is held down to the upper middle body via a spindle gear screw that also holds it in the spindle gear bushing so that way these parts cannot move or come loose disrupting the cleaning process. At that point, it would need to be replaced or the cleaner will not operate correctly. 15451141 610377212861 0.0100lbs 0.00 0.00 0.00
