It's plastic, not glass, but still works great. With the new gasket that comes with it, I quickly replaced the leaky one on my Hayward filter head.

After 22 years of use, I broke the sight glass on my Hayward sand filter. I expected I'd have to replace the entire multiport because mine is so old but I took a chance and ordered this and was amazed when it fit.

Successful replacement for my broken Hayward S180T sand filter sight glass. Remove broken glass and gasket, press in supplied gasket, screw in glass. Done.
