Stopped working. I can't keep buying apple pencils because the tip stops working over time.

Love using this with procreate. The pressure and sensitivity is awesome and it fits nicely in my hands. I'd recommend getting a grip or holder, long hours can result in a sore spot on your hand

Subject says it all. Was using a case that didn't hold the pencil firmly and lost my pencil on a recent airline flight. Since I take all my notes digitally now this was a next day replacement that cost a bit less than a same day replacement from the Apple store. A no-brainer purchase for me.

Easy to use, holds a charge for a long period of time. Perfect for writing or drawing.Couldn't be happier

The only thing I didn't like was the fact this is the only Apple Pencil that is compatible with iPad 10th gen except you need an adapter from Apple the ONLY adapter that works if from Apple so don't waste your money on other ones.

Now I know next time purchase at the apple store

First time using an Apple Pencil, decided to get it for school because using those school laptops was a big enough pain, but using this stylus (because that's what it is) with my new iPad has been awesome. Easily the best stylus I've used for digital drawing compared to my old wacom tablet. Even though this is an older model of the Apple Pencil, it has basically zero latency and very (very) smooth in terms of use. If you're getting the 2021 iPad as I did, get this too, it'll make life so much better. My only issues with it is that it has no way of “out of the box” attaching to your iPad as the new model does. And that the way of charging and pairing this device looks a bit ridiculous. It DOES come with an adapter to charge it on its own with a cable, but you won't be able to use it while it's charging. Luckily the battery life on this stylus is nothing to scoff at, went a week without charging it and it was only at 40. Lastly, the cap above the lighting port is very flimsy due to a weak magnet. Otherwise this device is solid and a good purchase for even casual users of their iPad.

I've been wanting an Apple Pencil for so long now and it's amazing!

Practical

I bought one used, and I can barely tell! There are some oddities, the Apple Pencil doesn't really turn off, and you're gonna want to buy a case to store it with, since this isn't something you want rolling around. Works great with procreate. I have trouble with my hands and applying pressure, but this lets me draw better than ever thanks to technology. Holds charge for surprisingly long, lasts me a week and charges quickly. Strangely enough, it didn't charge properly for the first day of having it, but leaving it on a charger for a few hours fixed that. Good for artists!! Practically essential for drawing programs like procreate.

Accurate, fast, feels good to use. But won't hold charge for long and depletes over time. Luckily, most ipad cases have special holes for the pen and weird pen adapter and cap. This pen really represents the mentality of nasa pen that took million dollars to develop. Apple pencil 2 has solved some of its problems but doesn't work with ipads that this pen works with.

I brought this because I lost my last one. Works like new. Very refreshing because I was long overdue for a new one . Everything was perfect
