This is an incredible, natural feeling drawing tool for iPad. The tip is precise and the pressure sensitivity is excellent. Works great in procreate, artisan, and really all the design software for iPad. I've used high end wacom styluses and the Apple Pencil has a very different, very smooth feel.Yes Gen 1 has a few design problems the charger and cap, the lack of a button or eraser, and that it doesn't secure to the tablet for storage. Rolling away is acceptable in a 25 cent pencil but less so in a fragile $125 tool. I've broken a few tips by it rolling and falling. So I keep a stockpile of generic tips. And I forgive the Apple Pencil because it feels as fast as ideasit's something that you can just grab when you have an idea and the tool doesn't interrupt you. It doesn't announce itself or get in the way. If you do digital artwork of any kind, it is infinitely better than a $20-50 stylus. If you need a cursor, pixel level precision at 50 view, and color profiles for printing, you need a wacom and not an Apple Pencil and iPad. If you don't know what the above means, then an Apple Pencil is the stylus for you.
