Mission: The primary purpose of Heartwood Haven is to rescue and provide shelter for abused, neglected, mistreated, or homeless animals. The corporation also seeks to educate the public about rehabilitation and care of abused and neglected animals.
Results: Over the last five years in operation, Heartwood Haven has rescued 1400 animals. We regularly work with Animal Control and Law Enforcement on cruelty cases and rescue animals from the worst circumstances.

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 400 farmed animals who were suffering from cruelty, neglect, and abandonment find sanctuary and safety.
