It is the length I chose, it was too long before.The socket orientation can also be moved, which feels very user-friendly.

My setup is in my closet, and as such there's no outlet here. So, I had to order a cord I knew would be long enough to go from my bedroom to in here. Works perfect! I've been using this since October of 2021, and I've had no issues with it.

This is a good product as it does as advertised and saved my electronics twice during heavy rain storms that caused power surges and tripped the safety and reset just as it should. All devices hooked up to it are all well still
