It's a game changer being able to have a power cord this long. Truly. I might have overdone it on the length but I can see this being used for many many many years.

This is a great product. I bought it for the extra long cord length. Because of the long cord length, I'm not sure that it would be the best for travel but, if you have the space, go for it!

I can't even describe how upsetting it was to see this power cord continually cause issues to the point of blowing out my entire outlet. It's completely unusable now because this this didn't protect anything. I don't even know how something like this is possible, it clearly just didn't do it's job.

In my closet there's a box where the cable comes in and the CAT5 connections from throughout the house also come in. There's power in the box so I mounted this power strip on the wall next to the box. I wanted a protected power strip with a short cord and this one works perfectly. Very clean and it says GE on it instead of something weird.

Love the GE Surge protector does the job have a landline phone plus cell phone n laptop charging so far works n get the job done.

I am very very pleased with this purchase. The power cord is finally long enough but more importantly, it shines lovely at night and is so easy to plug something in. I haven't traveled anywhere with it and cannot figure out why this is a category to star. Of course you can travel with it, just unplug from the wall and take off. Overall, a good buy!

I have more than my fair share of surge protectors but I needed one with a flat plug. The plug outlet is located right on the wall, directly behind my couch and I didn't want a plug that juts out of the wall because it would eventually get bent out of wack. This works perfectly and the cord length is just right for the floor lamp that is plugged into it.
