I needed something to power up my recliners and battery options were too expensive. We bought this to solve the same and it's worth every penny. This also comes with a surge protector, and we would be at peace to know that our products are safe. Would definitely recommend this.

Why not a cord? If all that I wanted was more outlets, I would get a 6 outlet adapter that screws directly into the existing wall outlet.

There is 0 power loss along the entire length of the rope, so it's perfect if you need power hungry electronics to have their own outlet from a different part in the house
