The flavor of this product is similar to that of the original. I bought it thinking it is lower in sodium than the original but I was mistaken. Still using it since the taste is acceptable

This wasn't what I was hoping for, but it's good enough to reorder.

So. After surviving Irma and having to complete a total fridge-dump due to power loss, many residents in my community are hitting the grocery stores as they slowly reopen to replenish the refrigerated items. Many of the stores are missing key products, which is totally understandable. My normal mayo was completely absent from my Publix, so I had to go on a mayonnastic adventure and try a different type. I was so pleasantly surprised by this new-to-me mayo, that I jumped to the Hellmann's website to leave my review for this fine product. I received a form email from Hellmann's today saying their staff felt that my review did not meet their website guidelines. Mind you, 99 of the reviews on their organic garlic mayo page are from people who received a free product. Mine would have been one of the few that was genuine and un-bribed. And they didn't even tell me what part of my review was unsuitable! I'm a little hurt, Hellmann's. I thought we had a real thing going on! Way to put salt in the hurricane wound. You be the judge if my original review is un-website-able: 34;So Irma recently responsible for a total fridge-dump and when the power came back on, I went to my local Publix to stock up on the necessities. Hellman's mayonnaise is a necessity in my household. But..... my Publix was all out. Like, the mayonnaise shelves were completely wiped clean. There weren't even those jumbo Hellman's jars on the bottom shelf. All that was available was a competing brand (which I wasn't desperate enough to do) and the Hellman's organic garlic mayo. I'm not one who likes change- I know what I like so I tend to buy the same thing over and over again. But I needed something for my sammiches. So I (grudgingly) bought the organic garlic mayo... and was happily surprised! This stuff is wonderful! I mean, don't get me wrong, when the Publix restocks the plain Hellman's I'm totally buying that, but for a forced interlude, this was a completely acceptable substitute.34;
