These hinges are SELF close NOT SOFT close. They do appear to work just fine and I used two in conjunction with two soft close hinges already on my door (4 hinges total) and door closes softly.

If you order replacement hinges and they are not a PERFECT match, don't use them. I had to order 3 different sets before I found the right replacement. Once I found the P5124-14 hinges and ordered them, it took about ten minutes to line up the cabinets, install and fit. Measure carefully!
