I bought these for my 5 year old and 7 year old to play soccer in. They are definitely way too long for younger kids. They went to mid thigh on both of them. Where the foot is was a decent fit. A little big for my 5 year old but it had room to stretch for bigger feet. They stretched over the shin guards fine. They seem to be made well and out of good fabric.

These socks were great for the short 6-week season but they are already rapidly shrinking after only a couple washes. Our child is 9, that means we won't be able to use for the fall or for next spring so they have already been put aside for our 4-year old to grow into.
