Mission: High Plains Food Bank's mission is to alleviate hunger in the Texas Panhandle. Primarily, HPFB distributes over 9 million pounds of food annually across 29 counties through a network of non-profit feeding partners. This safety-net of agencies provides direct food assistance to neighbors who struggle with food insecurity.

To further combat food insecurity and improve the overall health for our underserved communities, HPFB provides a variety of targeted programs like Kids Cafe, Direct Mobile Distribution, Commodity Supplemental Nutrition Program, Mobile Harvest, and nutrition education. In addition, HPFB's social services department helps individuals apply for SNAP, Medicaid, and other life-stabilizing resources to establish food security, better health, and self-sufficiency.

High Plains Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1982, and donations are tax-deductible.
