Great book

Wife and I used it this summer was great..some of it though needs to be updated.

As an avid Hiker and Photographer I enjoyed seeing pictures of many of the water falls I have encountered on my many hikes and photography trips. All the information you need is in this book and easy to find. First you locate where the falls is in the state and that does require a little bit of searching. Note that FALLS (HIKES) are designated by PAGE NUMBER and also HIKE NUMBER. There is a map at the beginning of the book which shows (somewhat), BY FALLS NUMBER where it is located in the state. The table of contents is organized by both HIKE NUMBER and PAGE NUMBER. The index at the back of the book also identifies the falls by NAME and book PAGE NUMBER. Finally, there is a 34;trail finder34; on pages 7-9 which organizes falls by HIKE NUMBER and various CATEGORIES. The categories include; Favorites, Least Crowded, Most Popular, Interesting Features, Roadside (or almost), and Challenging Hikes. There are trail MAPS for each of the falls but you DO have to know where you are on a regular map in order to better locate the trail head for the falls of interest. Each falls references a page in a Delorme Gazeteer for the state where the falls is located. It also specifies 34;X and 34;Y34; coordinates for that page to better help you locate the trail head as shown on the map in this book. All in all this is an excellent book and I highly recommend it to avid hikers, hiking families, photographers and wood wanderers.
