Hohner is a good harmonica for experts and beginners. They've been in the business for a long time and make great harmonicas at a reasonable price. I just use mine for playing around the house for pleasure, but they are certainly professional grade.

I did my research on this product- I wanted to get my husband a great sounding harmonica that didn't break the bank. Cue Hohner harmonica- good company and reputation when it comes to instruments. I'm super glad I went with this one versus some of the cheaper ones, it's soooo much better. I live in a super dry state and a haven't had any issues at all with the instrument holding up- I waited a year to write this review just to ensure it was quality.

My dad started attending a harmonica class offered at a local Christian church for seniors. He loves this item! I love listening to his beautiful music My family also loves it, too. Thank you for such a quality product.

my issue is likely manufacturing defect. I like the plastic comb and the sound quality on special 20 relative to wood comb blues harps I've had. I'm not a harp player, but am slowly learning to accompany my guitar. Its great fun if people aren't around to be annoyed.

Nice easy bend. Needed an F to play jazz in C. This filled out the set for seven jazz keys. As for Beginners, they should always learn on the best instrument they can afford. Learn to play on a bad harp, you will play harp BAD. You can't learn to drive the Le Mans in a Beetle. Don't know where this Beginners thing came from.

It seems to sound fine but once I opened up my harmonica only a week after getting it there are many scratches on the reeds and heavy corrosion spots so I question if they are stored long in improper environment and not inspected internally by the vendor. Kinda bummed I'm stuck with a pre rusted potentially wacky sounding harmonica but whatever. Guess I'll be heading to a local music shop next time.

I have Hohner harps in all keys. Some of my harps are so oldsometimes the covers come loose etc. There is no better name in harmonica than Hohner,so youll be buying the best.Personally, I think the prices are 20 too high.

I'm not a professional player, but it sounds much better than the lower priced one I had been using. I okay through a mic , but volume is fine without it also. I'm sure real players will buy a more expensive one, but this works well for me.
