The shirt has a reasonable thickness. You can partially see through the material, but it doesn't feel super thin. I tend to wear extra large size shirts, but I fit a size large for this shirt; the XL is too big. The XL will likely be too large for anyone under 68 inches tall, regardless of weight. For the XL, the shirt comes down pretty far compared to other brands of that size.

This shirt is perfect for my husband. He loves the fit and the weight. This shirt fits true to size. It is NOT oversized like some of the shirts in this style.
