Compre parte igual hace dos aos y sigue funcionando y compre otra igual en 12/19/22 se instalo el 12/23/22 . Pero al poco tiempo comenz a trabarse y no prenda el heather tube que traer un plomero y hubo que cambiar la parte ahora espero que tenga garantia

Did a one for one swap for a zone valve that went bad. Looks to be a slight upgrade for the 9 year old version that died. With YouTube's help, this was easy to do.

The drive gears failed on one of my valves. This replacement was the same as Original Equipment. Took less then 10 minutes to install and wire up

It seems like the older design is more robust. The current design has a weak micro switch requiring frequent replacement of entire actuator. Not good.

The replacement job is very easy, just follow the included instructions. Make sure the manual override lever is in the MAN position on the old valve before removing it, and make sure the override lever on the new valve is also in the MAN position before installing it.The end-switch in the new valve is the new style, so when it eventually fails you'll have to replace the whole head, not just the faulty switch. The new style switch is no longer available as an individual replacement part.My only real complaint is the strain relief is a complete hack. Looking at the pictures you can see the original head on the left with a nice, well-fitted strain relief. On the right is the new head. It has a hugely over-sized hole that the strain relief doesn't even come close to filling. I suppose it probably does the job of strain relief, but it really doesn't protect the wires from the sharp edges of the sheet metal.

These valves are not that relaiable, but this upper housing has the parts that fail the most often. I keep an extra on hand.

Easy to install for any DIYer. Simple tools required - flathead and philips. Mark your 4 wires, remove old head, install new one, connect 4 wires and installation is done. Fixed my issue - bad end switch, and saved me an expensive service call.
