The only thing to be aware of is that there are no instructions other than youtube. I don't think you can tell which wires to connect (there are no positive/negative identifiers) so if you hook it up and it doesn't work, switch the wires and it will likely work.

My Honeywell HE100 humidifier was about 10 years old and the solendoid was allowing water to continuously flow. I determined this was the issue by using a multimeter to confirm the solenoid was not responding properly when receiving the call for humidification from the thermostat. It took less than 5 minutes to install this new solenoid and the system now works as designed.

Installed th8is to replace a noisy, failing AC solenoid in my Honeywell humidifier. An easy install (5-10 minutes), and it fixed the problem. Note that both AC and DC versions are available, so make sure you check which one you need before buying, as the Honeywell humidifier can use one or the other depending on the control mechanism being used for that unit.

This valve is what we needed. It was expensive, but now our humidifier no longer has constant running water through it. The pressure from the valve when it's on is also now constant.It is the described AC valve.
