I have lived in my house for 5 years now and have used the old school dial thermostats the entire time Ive lived here. I finally had enough of the issues that are associated with them and ordered a bunch of these for the rooms in my house. Looking back, I should have done this year one. These are such a massive upgrade over the old school dial thermostats. Programming is easy, works great, temperature is stable and accurate. Soooo much better. 10/10

I installed this to replace an older T4700 programmable thermostat. Easy to program (especially compared to the T4700) and packed with features.Haven't been through a winter with it yet so I can't comment on the control or accuracy.

I wasn't expecting much from a thermostat but these are a game changer. No more clicking as the heaters expand and contract when full power was applied. These will just apply 20 and keep the temperature steady. Please look at the temperature graph. I was so impressed after installing one I put them throughout the house. My electric usage went down 17 even with the average outdoor temperature -3 degrees colder!

We bought two in 2019 and they crapped out on us in 2022. Two electricians could not figure the problem. They ended recommending we get new ones. When they were working they burnt the wall around it and were very hot.

I had an old one of these thermometers, and I bought the newer one. It feels like it was a much better upgrade. Seems like it's much warmer in the house now.

Tedious process for scheduling. If it loses power you have to re-enter the schedule.

We have electric baseboard heat, and until now used the standard dial-type thermostats. The old thermostats were not very accurate, and had a lot of hysteresis: they would always over-shoot the setting (making the room too warm before clicking off), or undershoot it, and the room would get very cold before the heat came on. Most aggravating was when we forgot to turn one off for the night, and the next morning found the house was hot -- mistakes that add up and get expensive.These programmable thermostats are great. They work with line voltage (120 or 240), and are intended for electric baseboard heaters like ours. They're silent, and the electronics gently raise or lower the heater power depending on the room temperature and program settings so it doesn't overshoot. I got one and liked it so much I got another.Programming is easy and intuitive. Overriding the program is super easy, just press the up or down buttons for more or less heat. Your new setting stays in effect until the next programmed change. For instance, if you have the heat set to go off at, say, 10pm, but bump it up at 8pm because you're watching a movie or something, it will stay warmer until the scheduled change at 10pm when it automatically goes back to the programmed setting.Elegant. Easy to install if you have any electrical skill. Highly recommended.

Digital is way better. We had the turn dial one. This has been working great and is very consistent.

The display is a little light. Other than that I am very happy with the unit.

This was defective, I had an electrician come to install it, took him an hour, after troubleshooting everything else, to find out I have a bad thermostat. Hooked the old one back up, it's working fine. I have purchased two of these units prior to this, and they both work fine.

I had been searching for a modestly priced DIGITAL thermostat for baseboard heaters for years until this came along. I'm a renter, and most analog thermostats devolve into either on or off over time, and waste energy, not to mention having to constantly turn them on or off to be remotely comfortable.I was so pleased with the first one that I purchased for myself, that I ordered this one to give to a neighbor for his birthday, for which he is so grateful that he shovels my walk now.

This was compatible with my older 4-wire baseboard heater wiring.

I ordered 2 right out of the box one was bad. The other one I installed in my sons room. The thermostat worked for a week then the one morning I go in there and it smells like burnt plastic and the thermostat is dead. So I change the thermostat out with a the original one I had in the room. Come to find out when the thermostat burned up it also burned uo the heater.These thermostats are dangerous donnit use them!!!!!!!!
