When I install electrical thingies and I say it was easy, I'm 75 and have been doing things like this for a long, long time. It works just like it should. Some elements in the instructions a bit fuzzy but not horrible Chinese English that you see in some.

This is really easy to program and you can be sure your lights will be on when you come home in the dark. And will shut off when you program it for daylight. Only drawback is that it's not backlit.

Unlike many timers listed, this one is intended for lights and motored devices (e.g., bath fan). It is easy to install if you have some experience doing minor electrical work. After setting up the automatic on-off schedule, you must manually switch from manual mode to auto mode by pressing the cover plate for 3 seconds. This is stated in the manual but easy to miss with a quick read.

I called their support team, this model does NOT have a white background display like the pic. It comes with a dark grey, calculator looking background. It's not a big deal, but why I gave it 4 stars. It works great and very easy to install and program.

I have had problems using LED lights, they want to flicker and eventually the timer switch goes bad. This one was easier to program and works flawlessly with LED bulbs. I used it on my detached garage carriage lights. Highly recommend.

We installed this switch in our front hall for the outside front porch light. It is great - we no longer have to turn the light on - and it's nice to know the light is on when we are away so it doesn't look like no one is at home.

It took a little time to get used to the program function and the white day and hour button would get stuck in the plastic face cover. This meant that we had to pick them out of the housing after each click. Besides that, it runs well and, for the cost, I don't care that the buttons took a few extra minutes to use because I don't see a need to use them in the future, except twice per year for daylight savings adjustments.

The unit is OK, but the display is very hard to read. Build quality is adequate, but the door for the programming buttons feels pretty flimsy. Overall, seems like a rebrand of another switch, and I just chose this one because it replaced another one that it failed and was an easy installation.

I really like it. Easy to program.However, seriously, who decided to open the door from bottom up? If it's mounted at the normal height of a switch, you have to crouch down to see underneath the door to program.
