We have this hooked up to our security lights so they are only on at certain times and it works great. It keeps our lights from annoying our neighbors at unnecessary times but still keeps us safe

We installed this switch turn on and off a large squirel-cage vent fan with a 1/2 horse motor. Works great. It's 7 programs offer much more flexibility than I realized. Using it to turn the fan on and off early each morning 7 days a week between 3 and 6am (to take advantage of inputting the cool early morning air) uses only one of the 7 available programs. The only weakness we encountered was in the included instructions on the card. Fortunately, Honeywell's site yielded much better programming instructions to a search of the model number.

I used it to turn OFF and ON the landscape lights. It works great. Programming is not intuitive. Should only have ONE option-24 hour clock. This AM PM is baloney.The enclosed instructions' font is too small. I had to download large font version via the internet.It's difficult to program-the door hangs low. Can't clearly see the program screen. I would be better if the door snapped out and can be put back after programming.

This was the perfect solution to automate coach lights in front of my home. The timer is fairly easy to operate and program. The only downside is that it can be difficult to read, but thankfully I'm not adjusting it frequently.

They already built the timer logic and like 7 programs. Why can't they also add an internal calendar to automatically adjust for daylight savings? Only gripe is twice a year I have to go around the house and reset the time on each of the 4 that I own. Otherwise, they work great.

This is one of those things that just makes life easier. No more coming home to a dark entryway. No more lighting up the neighborhood all night long. Forget about placing those plug in timers around the house every time you go on vacation. These can be programmed differently each day or for a particular day or the same every day. Easy to adjust too. The bonus is that it works like a regular light switch as well and will resume your programming. I have used these in multiple places and I love them.

I installed this at my vacation home. I love the backup battery feature that allows the switch to operate even after a power outage. My electrician installed it quite quickly and it is was quite simple to operate and setup. great buy

I'm not paranoid, but we do like to keep our exterior lights on at night, but it's always a challenge to remember to turn them on in the evening and turn them off in the morning! This timer works and just as important, looks great!Thanks Honeywell, your products always excel!
