This is a very good basic thermostat that doesn't need any batteries installed to operate properly. I'm using it to control a heat only zone in my basement and it matches the old thermostat and an IR thermometer within a degree.

My original thermostat quit working which made my ventless gas fireplace useless. Of course we were experriencing some very cold weather when all of this happened which meant using the family room in tthe basement not real pleasant. With the new thermostat in place we are back in heaven. The one drawback is how you have to change the batteries - there is no separate battery door/access - you have to take the face plate off to get to the batteries. This can be difficult for arthritic hands.

This thermostat works great with our gas fireplace! It was easy to install and wire up. No more having to physically get up and down to work the switch!

We have a coal boiler so we needed something for heat only. This was so easy to install. And looks nice on the wall. And easy to use. Just push up or down on the buttons to change temperature.

Had a old spring thermostat for my heater in my boat . Hooked right up . Simple instructions. Nice upgrade ! Love it

Just installed this in a rental home and couldnt go any easier. Took all of 5 minutes and does just what I want. Has digital accuracy, and can easily set the desired temperature. I used for a low voltage application, unsure if would work on line voltage

simple non programable t-stat, great for seniors not wanting to mess with a programable t-stat. installed in a home with electric forced air heat. Honeywell quality in an easy to use t-stat. Accurate with back light with touch of key. highly recommended.

Very easy to install. Easy to use. The original Dometic mechanical thermostat was hard to turn on and set. The Honeywell thermostat is easy to read and use. Great Travel trailer upgrade

Installed this in place of a wall switch. Now, we turn on the fireplace and the thermostat regulates the temperature in the room perfectly. Install was a breeze and the cost was a fraction of a fireplace remote with thermostat. Excellent valueI wish I had installed this in our previous home!

This unit was very easy to install. I bought three of them. I used a NIST certified temperature sensor sitting on top of all three of them, and each was dead-on accurate. It is setup by default for a standard oil furnace, which is what I have.

Our old thermostat was constantly turning the fireplace off and on but this new thermostat turns on , warms the room up and shuts off appropriately. It's great.
