Bought one about 5 years ago to replace the old fashioned RV thermostat. Replaced the batteries every year with lithium type.First thing I noticed was the batteries fit too tight in the compartment such that it did not make contact until I shifted them.After 5 years, the thermostat went unreliable. It stopped turning on the furnace by itself. Batteries good, contacts cleaned, furnace sensors and control board checked, but it kept failing at the worse times...middle of the night in winter.Unsure about reliability for such a simple circuit, especially based on other reviews.Hoping I am wrong when I replace it. Prefer not to go back to a spring thermostat.

This t-stat gives you a set of dry contacts, no external power source. 2 aaa cells included.I used it in my Bushwhacker Plus trailer, like it a lot. The backliight is very useful.

This is by far the best thing I've purchased for my motorhome. I'm not sure why so many RVs run analog thermostats but this frigidaire one is the ticket. It installs in minutes, two screws and two wires, very easy to put in. I can now see the temperature in my RV and never have to get up in the middle of the night because it's too hot or freezing. I wish I would have purchased this on my way home from picking up my RV.

Using this to control a greenhouse gas heater that requires a millivolt thermostat. Simple two wire installation took about 5 minutes. Not finicky about being plumb/level. Comparing to wifi temp monitors in the greenhouse, it's quite accurate as well. Would buy again.

I actually ordered as a replacement. The hubby picked the coldest day of the year to change out batteries and broke a prong off the old one. So really all we had to do was open the box and snap on to the old wall made
