Easy to install

I ordered Honeywell thermostat to replace the one that was broken. While it looked like my thermostat, installed vertically on a single gang box, but it had a different base plate. My thermostat had only 4 wires. The instructions were geared for heat pumps and other functions. My original thermostat was programable and worked on 4 wires. I returned it at Whole Foods in Boca Raton, FL. No problem. Excellent service at the returns desk.

I have three of these in my house, but one of the older ones died so I bought this one. I really like the new backlight and it's great having the programming for weekdays and weekends. The programming is easy and simple but lets you do really cool things. This one controls my central gas furnace and the others control my electric heat, so I can balance how much gas vs electricity I use by programming one to have a lower turn-on temperature than the others, or, for example, starting the gas furnace earlier to help me wake up and take the brunt of the heating chores from the electric heat. I love this unit!

Easy to install but the set up could be more clear.

Super easy to install, but burned out within a week. Sent back and bought a different one with no problems.

OMG, I was so happy to see the exact same model as what I currently have but in a seven day programmable version. It was so easy to install. I didn't even have to touch any wiring. Just snap on the new unit to the old wired base and follow the directions for programming and done. It is working like a dream.
