Mission: The mission of the Hope After Loss is to comfort those who grieve the loss of a pregnancy or newborn child. Hope After Loss provides programs to educate, counsel, and support families who have lost a pregnancy or infant; to advocate for the health care of women and children worldwide; and to promote humanism in the education of tomorrow''s health care professionals.

Target demographics: women and men who grieve the loss of a pregnancy or newborn.

Geographic areas served: Connecticut

Programs: Our volunteers provide peer-to-peer support to families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or newborn. This support takes place in support groups, on the phone, over e-mail, and through our website's message boards.
