Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: Hope Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of stray and abandoned pets in North Carolina. We promote compassionate and humane treatment of all animals, regardless of breed or species. We rescue those unlikely to get out of the shelter system alive, and have a heart for senior dogs and those with medical needs. We are an all-volunteer rescue, and all funding goes back to benefit the animals.

Results: Annually, we rescue approximately 300 at risk animals from death in NC shelters and place them in loving homes. We focus on seniors and special needs dogs; those at greatest risk of being killed in shelters. Please help by donating today at www. hopeanimals. org!

Target demographics: Improve the lives of the stray and abandoned animals, as well as the overall reduction of homeless dogs and cats in North Carolina through our foster, volunteer, and adoption programs.

Direct beneficiaries per year: In our first year, Hope Animal Rescue successfully rescued 200 dogs and cats from high-risk situations and placed them with loving adoptive homes. Annually, we rescue approximately 300 at risk animals from death in NC shelters.
