Mission: The mission of Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional or behavioral disabilities by providing them with affordable therapeutic horseback riding and associated special education of the highest possible quality, in a warm, safe and supportive environment.

Results: Over 22 years, we have delivered weekly therapeutic riding and driving lessons and horse camps to many hundreds of children and adults with disabilities.

Target demographics: Children and adults with a wide range of disabilities. Many of our riders are on the autism spectrum. Others face developmental delays, have cerebral palsy, or were disabled as the result of an accident, including spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Nearly 70 individuals received our services last year.

Geographic areas served: Most of our riders live in the greater Philadelphia area, including Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties.

Programs: Therapeutic Horseback Riding and Driving Lessons, Horse Camps for Kids with Disabilities, At-Risk Youth Day Camps, Sibling Ride Program, and Innovative Special Education Programs
