Causes: Job Training

Mission: HopeWorks Social Enterprises helps low-income, Snohomish County residents, achieve self-sufficiency through social enterprises that provide training and pathways to living-wage jobs.

Target demographics: individuals and families experiencing homelessness, disabling conditions or other life events that stand in the way of self-sufficiency

Geographic areas served: Snohomish County

Programs: businesses specifically created with the purpose of training and employing interns from disadvantaged backgrounds as a way to prepare them for future success. In return for their hard work, we provide paid job training to last a lifetime, while our community provides opportunities for these interns to practice their skills, whether hiring our crews for a landscaping project through GroundWorks, perusing our well-curated furniture collection at RenewWorks or enjoying a made-to-order treat at CafeWorks. Through deliberate and resourceful business planning, extensive collaboration with our corporate and community partners, and a commitment to tangible outcomes, we are bringing our vision to reality - one where everyone, no matter their situation, has an equal chance at a safe and secure future.
