the mat fits good under our steps. It gives cushion for them to sit on and people's weight on getting in and out of pool. We are glad to have it.

Biggest waste of money! Nothing for the suction cups to attach to. Steps kept floating up and moving around. My grandkids where going around in a circle creating a whirlpool effect (10 year olds) and the entire mat started moving and came completely out from under the wedding cake stairs.

When you have an above ground pool, our installer said the younger kids tend to hang around and on the ladder, and suggested we get a mat to keep the ladder from scraping the bottom of the pool liner. This fit nicely with room around it. And he was right!
