This worked perfectly under the platform I built for the pool and to my surprise it didn't get algae under it. the only down side are the groves, they make it a little more challenging to clean but not impossible

This is such a great pad! This does a great job protecting your pool liner which, in itself, if hugely important. In addition, it is VERY easy to clean! In years past, we have used non slip tub mats and by the wand of the season, it has always been very disgusting. Using this pad this year, we had a real problem with algae and, no matter how green it got, the pad rinse clean very easily and held up to appear like new after using it the whole season. I am so glad we got this one!

I'm so happy I purchased this ladder mat after we had to replace our pool liner. Before we didn't have a mat and the ladder left huge indentations in our liner. With the mat the liner stays smooth and flat.
