Mission: To rescue abused, abandoned & neglected horses in Southern Idaho, Northern Nevada & Eastern Oregon. To collaborate with local animal officers & agencies to identify equine abuse & neglect. To heal & rehabilitate in order to help horses find their forever homes. To provide sanctuary for those equine unable to be re-homed.
Results: Since our 501(c)3 was created in 2010, we have rescued over 100 horses from being beaten, starved & abandoned. In 2017 we rescued 2 horses from a snowy mountain top - one of them via helicopter. The next month we rescued a record 27 horses from a terrible neglect case involving many yearlings. This brought our horse census to 41 total - a record census. We were able to successfully re-home 18 horses & our census is now a manageable 23.We have been working hard over the last 2 years on our barn and arena facilities. We are approximately 75% of the way done.
