Mission: The mission of Hospitality House is to rebuild lives and strengthen community by providing a safe, nurturing, healthy environment in which individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty-related crises are equipped to become self-sufficient and productive.

Results: Each year, we successfully move between 100 - 125 individuals into independent, stable housing.

Target demographics: Individuals and families in crisis, poverty and homelessness

Direct beneficiaries per year: provided over 40,000 nights of shelter, 146,000 meals and $281,000 of aid to keep families from becoming homeless

Geographic areas served: Hospitality House is a regional nonprofit health and human services agency that serves the seven North Carolina High Country counties of Watauga, Wilkes, Ashe, Avery, Alleghany, Mitchell, Yancey providing housing, hunger releif and crisis assistance

Programs: Winter Seasonal Shelter; Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Family Housing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Rock Haven Independent Living Facility, Scattered Site Housing, Bread of Life Community Kitchen, Food Pantry, Hunger Relief and Nutrition Programs, Gardens & Agriculture Initiative, WeCAN (Watauga Crisis Assistance Network), Rapid Re-Housing, BREMCO Operation Round-up, NRLP Good Neighbor Round-up, RISE of the High Country
