Mission: To foster compassionate treatment of animals and to prevent animal suffering. To strengthen the human-animal bond and to further the cause of responsible animal ownership through education and public awareness.

Programs: We have continued our effort at community and educational outreach by providing camp paw paw humane education to 149 campers, and four helen kerr humane education sessions to over 80 community members. We continue to partner with the chittenden emergency food shelf by providing free donated pet food and supplies. We provided classes and training for 148 students. We handled 30 cruelty cases. We continued our trap/neuter/release program for feral cats; 93 cats were spayed or neutered and returned to their communities. We served 116 animals at rabies clinics.
