Mission: We at the Humane Society of Broward County believe in advocating for and improving the lives of animals by providing adoptions, community services, and education.

Established in 1944, the Humane Society of Broward County's animal shelter is 33,000 square-feet with the ability to house over 300 dogs and cats. The society has full time veterinarian services for shelter animals with an on site clinic. Over 200,000 patrons visit the shelter each year and our educational programs touched over 150,000 children and adults.

Humane Society of Broward County is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1970, and donations are tax-deductible.
