Wrong part won't fit unless you make new holes to make it fit

Despite every single thing in the product description claiming that this fit a 2006 Silverado 1500, it does NOT or the fitment is poor. They may change the description and fitment at a later date, but as of right now it does not fit or the fitment is poor. The main problem is two fold: the mounting instructions are incorrect - I had to drill a different hole than what the instructions indicated and only one hole in the flap lined up. The fitment around the flare itself was sub-par - there is more than an 1/8th inch gap between the flap and the truck. Due to the inaccurate instructions and poor fit-up the flap is not parallel to the tire tread and the flap appears slightly crooked from behind. All of the packing documentation, part s and instructions indicated that these were supposedly the correct flaps for the truck. That being the case, they need to seriously refine their design. The only reason I gave it 2-stars is because the construction of the mud flap seems very durable/high quality.

Put these on my 2007 Chevy 2500 4x4 fit good but did not like drilling holes in the fenders. Lasted 3 years on the pickup and were still in good shape when I sold the pickup. Did a great job of stopping rocks from damaging my trailers when I pulled them, especially on gravel roads My next pair will be ones where I do not have to drill holes.

The supplied paint protective film appears to be die-cut BUT for the front set of mud flaps the die didn't accomplish cutting the film and the die lines were very faint which made hand-cutting it difficult and frustrating. I still have the rear set to open when I complete the body work on my truck bed.

I had to order multiple times. The first box had the right product description on the packaging, with the wrong mud guards inside. The second time I ordered, the correct mud guards where inside, however there was no hardware or instructions. You have to either just return and hope the next order is right, or call the manufacturer. Terrible
