I had high hopes after reading reviews and doing some research. these worked better than expected. I broke them up and put them into my rain catch and bird bath.

I think it does work a lot better compared to other options. The rounds were a little stiff and hard to divide with bare hands but it's definitely doable. I did try timing it while using in a barrel and I noticed that it didn't completely eradicate the larva under 24 hours like it says. However, it does last a long time, stays even in the rain and less toxic so I'll try it again next summer.

Added a small fraction of one disc to the top of the pool cover where water collects after heavy rain. Where there are typically zillions of little mosquito larva, there were none a day later. It works!

Used these in a small basin outside so the frogs had some water during drought. Before using 1/4 tab the larva would be back in a few days. With the dunks they were gone.
