Had thousands of black fly larvae in my koi pond filter box. Don't know how they got there. Threw in 1 dunk and after 2 weeks, very few larvae left. Working so far. Still have 5 dunks left. Hopefully won't have to use them.

I put one in my rain barrel to prevent mosquitoes till it was emptied in a day or two.

Added to my rain barrel to give the deer water. No mosquito larva at all. For some reason the water has stayed crystal clear during hot weather with little or not algae growth.

These things are great for keeping mosquito's away. just use as directions say and before you know it there will be no more mosquito's bothering.

I have a small 50gal trough I made into a ‘pond' for cattails. These mosquito dunks have made a HUGE difference! Next to no mosquitoes compared to last year.

Recommended to me by user who controls larvae in large water troughs- I've used in a natural watercourse that leaves small shallow water areas when stream stops flowing- I use in those sitting areas immediately to control mosquitoes hatching. Seems to be effective as significant lack of mosquitoes when outside on patio etc. I also use a cutter lawn spray for grass area

It must work cuz I've had less mosquitos this year. I was determined to beat the Georgia bugs early this year, so started in Spring exterminating everything outside around the foundation. I put some of these in drains that go from downspouts under sidewalks where I knew water was standing, in the bottom saucers of my large outdoor pots, crushed some and sprinkled it into some ground cover. This helpes a lot. It's still GA, still hot and humid so there's always skeeter, but this really helped.

I have a 32-gallon Rubbermaid garbage can that I store rainwater in for my carnivorous plants. It has a lid that fits pretty good but mosquitoes are sneaky blood-suckers that can get through small cracks. I simply break roughly a 1/4 or 1/5 of a dunk off and drop it in the water...it's good then for 30 days, at least.

I opted to break the ring into a few pieces and drop it into the rain barrel (approx. 55gal) after noticing we were growing thousands of mosquitoes. I checked in a few days later and they were all dead and have not come back thus far within the month /- on a single ring. The low cost of these things as insurance is worth how few mosquito bites we have (we live in Southern Maryland where the summer weather is gross and ripe for mosquitos)

I unfortunately work at a place that often has standing water after heavy rainfall. One application of this product and there were no more mosquitoes. absolutely works definitely would recommend it.

Perfect solution to get rid of fruit flies/gnats in my houseplants. Just break it up in smaller pieces and sprinkle on soil.
