Keeps mosquitoes from area and using stagnant water to grow and multiply.

Seems to work great for controlling mosquito larvae. A little pricey, but with my situation that's almost everything. I like the lack of lab derived pesticides and functionality. Good product.

Harmful to bugs but not to you.

Worked Great. had standing water in a rain barrel and could see larva swimming in it. Added these and the next day did not see a single thing moving in the water anymore.

My backyard had a horrible mosquito problem year after year, even paying one year for a pro to come spray once a month costing big $$$$$$$$.I put a few 5 gallon buckets filled with water around my yard, toss in a couple sticks and 1/4 of one of these mosquito dunks once a month and have seem a dramatic improvement this year. My friends don't even bring bug spray with them when they come to visit.

These dunks worked perfectly to keep the mosquito larvae from maturing.

I like these because I had a whole lot of mosquitoes on my front porch which I could not enjoy but after adding two of these until a little bucket of water on my front porch around 3 or 4 days later I can see your vast difference still have some mosquitoes but I can understand it should take at least 30 days to see a difference

My neighbors have in-ground pools, sadly they fail to keep them maintained and they turn green and are ripe for mosquitoe breeding grounds. I had four options - 1 confront my neighbors 2 contact the local municipality and report them 3 jump the fence and clean the pools 4 buy these dunks and toss them in every month. I like my neighbors but I'll be darned if I was going to pay or work hard cleaning someone else's problem, I'm not a big believer in big brother solving anything, so I buy these dunks and throw 3 of them in per pool, per month. Within a matter of 3 days the mosquitoes were gone and I'm happy with the result. My experience is the dunks last one month per pool.. Now granted if the neighbors found out they may be pissed off, but since they neglect the pools I assume I'm in the right especially with the risk of West Nile virus. My local store sells out of these towards the end of the summer so I buy enough to keep me stocked through the warm summer months.

Kill mosquito larva within 48 hours in standing water but did not harm beneficial insects. A win-win for everyone!
