Not even a question of liking or not: they work, which is all I care about. I have two 50-gal barrels that I use to trap rainwater. From these cisterns I use a bucket to carry water to my garden. Neither one is completely protected from mosquitos, although I do put some screening over the barrels. As long as I have these in, there are no larvae present. Once they dissolve (if water is still, they last longer, but if I bucket a lot, they eventually break up) they must be replaced. Good to have six. They last a whole summer for my 100 gallons!
