I think it does work a lot better compared to other options. The rounds were a little stiff and hard to divide with bare hands but it's definitely doable. I did try timing it while using in a barrel and I noticed that it didn't completely eradicate the larva under 24 hours like it says. However, it does last a long time, stays even in the rain and less toxic so I'll try it again next summer.

I gave them a 5 because after purchasing them, I realized I dont actually have a ton of standing water. I live in the woods. Mosquitoes:1, me: 0

Best long term solution to mosquito control - bare none. Don't expect immediate results but over the course of a week you will notice a tremendous reduction in your Mosquito problem.

These have hugely reduced the number of 'squitos in my backyard, I have 3 large storage tubs I keep half full of water. I change out the dunk after about 40 days but I'm going to experiment with going longer (I still don't see any larvae after 40 days).

Just use it to keep mosquito population out of my fountain. There are always mosquitoes but they dont breed in fountain

This item has been with me for such a short time that I am still breaking it in. I used this item for gnats in my plants. I soaked a half of a ring in a gallon of water and used the water for my plants. Did this for about 2 weeks and noticed immediate results...but now it seems they are back with a vengeance. I'm gearing for round 2!

We set the dunks in a soda bottle with the top cut off. They seem to work as we see what looks like dead mosquitos in the water. We used pond water, not tap.

We still get bit every evening. Started using in the spring and place them in the fall and throughout the summer.I'm not sure they help.Thermo cell works of I remember to turn them on as we fix meals.

Are used it in my small bird bath because I have solar fountains in both of them and I had to break them up because both my bird s hold less than 5 gallons of water. When you first put it in it looks like cork floating. But as it breaks it down it disappears but it works. I would buy it again. But it's gonna take me forever to use it up so maybe next summer.

I still have mosquitos but observation of birdbaths and fountain show these do work. My only gripe is they do make the water messy in my fountain..

This product is meant for large amounts of water. They do not dissolve fast. I bought for watering house plants to keep gnats away. So Leave for 48hours in a bucket of water then put in houseplants.
